The difference between acrylic and gel nails?

i want to get my nails done is gel just as good or better than acrylic with durability? i know it cost more but is it worth the extra money?The difference between acrylic and gel nails?
Acrylic nails are when they glue plastic to your nails, gel nails are when they use a liquid gel and paint it over your nail and it dries hard and they then may paint over top of that.


Apparently gel nails are supposed to be better for your nails but early this year my mum got gels nails thinking they would be better and when they came off after 3 weeks her nails were bad and it took months for them to go back to there origonal way. So in that case i would recommend acrylic as i think your nails will be better after they come off.

gel nails are better for your nails and they can be put on top of your natural nails. they are not as strong as acrylic but im not kidding when i say they leave very minimal damage..acrylics are stronger and do a lot more damage to your natural nails and sometimes even hurt your nails..i use to have the weakest nails after acrylic...it stunk
they say that gel nails are better than acrylic and that they don't damage your nails as much but i for one don't see the difference its mostly depends on who you get your nails done with if the person is good than either way it will look good
gel is better than arcylic.





gel is better for your nails, comes off easier , the nail polish doesnt fade or chip off, they dont turn yellow . i think it is worth the extra money
