How do you remove gel nails?

I have tried acetone, but there was no reaction, is there anything else I can use?How do you remove gel nails?
Light cured UV gel nails cannot be soaked off in pure acetone in the same way as acrylic nails. Acetone will not penetrate the surface of the nail, and it will not remove them no matter how long you soak them in it. They must be filed down...very carefully. If it's not done properly, removing them will cause damage to your natural nails. Gel nails are a good choice for someone who is planning on keeping them on for a long since they are the most difficult nails to remove. But, never force them off in any way. That will not be a good thing to do; It will tear off several layers of your natural nails and probably hurt pretty badly too.How do you remove gel nails?
Ooo gel nails is the worst thing you could've used!

just for next time, use acrylic, they come off with acetone.

go back to the nail salon and make sure you have plenty of time because they have to file them all down because there's no other way of getting them off without completely wrecking your nail underneath. x
Are they UV Lights?...If so, Your going to have to take a Filer, and file layer by layer..Acetone won't have any affect on them.

If not, Soak your nails longer, they'll start to get gooey, then just take something and start scraping at the nail.
good luck...i tried too and found nothing

just had to wait it out (or you could go in and have them removed)
The nail polish remover and the gel nails will create a stronger aroma, than the usual pungent smell of nail polish remover. The easiest way to create a well ventilated area is to sit outside and remove the nails, or open a window and sit next to it. When removing the nails you might not think that the smell is too offensive, but after an hour or two of its aroma lingering in your house. Hope you will certainly reconsider that opinion.
