Are arycrlic nails as straiht forwards to do as gel nail extensions could i teach myself?

Oooh, they are definitely not straight forward, and take a lot of practising, and can be difficult to do on yourself (think of how tricky painting your right hand nails can be if you're right handed, and have to use your left hand). I'd only recommend learning by training through a professional level course, to learn the correct way to apply the nails and to learn the proper ways to prevent infection and damage to the natural nails. Are arycrlic nails as straiht forwards to do as gel nail extensions could i teach myself?
I wouldn't risk it. Those things can be dangerous if not applied by a skilled professional. You can leave little pockets of air and dirt and bacteria can get in there and you could develop a fungus (think about it, fingernails are one of the dirtiest places on your body). I had a friend who developed a fungus on her nails because of little air spaces left between the real nail and the acrylic one and she had to get injections into her nail beds for like 6 months to get them fungus free. Her nails are now the ugliest things I've ever seen and she can't do anything about it.

Hire someone 20 bucks to have it done (if you really want to-they're kind of out)
